Using The Point to reach the "tipping point"

We are making use of "The Point" as a way to help us build momentum and reach our 100 people in 100 cities effort in 2011. The Point was apparently the offshoot of the people who brought us Groupon- online paid coupons that give 50% off (typically) for services once a certain number of people committed to the purchase.

It would be fabulous if we had more than 100 people in 100 cities. Indeed, there will be cities where more than one person or event will be held. But at the minimum, I am hoping we can reach the tipping point and have at least one event in 100 cities around the world.

Orangutan Caring Week 2011 Blog

This blog is another way to promote and collaborate with others who will participate in International Orangutan Caring Week 2011. This year the theme is "Reaching Out, Far and Wide" and we want to find people in at least 100 cities around the world committed to conducting at least one event during Orangutan Caring Week - November 12-20. This year, the week will include the weekend before and after the classic seven-day week period. That will enable institutions and organizations with facilities (such as zoos) to host events during the starting and ending weekends as well as during weekdays.
